Photography in the 35mm Format
Wedding Event Photography Pricing
Colour photography: $87.50 per hour,
previews in 4x6" size matte finish, average
20-40 images per hour. Mixed colour/B&W
coverage is available; contact Ted for pricing based on
event specifics.
Travel: no charge for events in the
Victoria BC metro area. Travel costs outside that
area will be charged to the client.
Booking requires a signed contract
and reservation fee of $175. Balance is due upon
preview presentation. You should consider
budgeting from $650 for overall photography work
for your wedding.
Additional Services
I can transfer your favourite images
onto a CD- ROM. I charge $250.00 for this service.
The wedding photographs on the CD-ROM are high
resolution images at up to 1200 DPI. These electronic
pictures are suitable for high quality glossy photo
printing.

Why I give the film to the bride and groom
Unlike other professional
photographers I do not own or rent a studio. This
allows me to do something quite different when I
photograph a wedding -- I give the couple the
actual rolls of film taken during the wedding.
There are numerous reasons I do not
retain the film:
- In giving you the wedding photo films, I
allow you to create all the reprints of pictures
that you want when you want..
- I do not have to keep the wedding films in
storage for years before throwing them away.
- I do not have to carry out the custom
printing. You can choose where to go to get the
enlargements. You are not restricted to a size
or quantity of prints from a specific package.
- It saves time and money for us both
The best of both worlds
I find this method of wedding
photography easier for me, no need to do custom
printing, and also easier for the bride and groom
since they will be able to choose from at least 72
images (three rolls) or more taken during the
wedding to create their own wedding album. It also
allows you to go to any lab to get reprints done
that will be given away. After the give-a-ways the
negatives can be taken to a custom lab so that
those special enlargements to be made for
yourselves. Or you can make your own right from
your Wedding CD
Take the next step up the aisle
I believe each wedding is special. I
like to meet with each couple at the wedding site
before the day of the wedding, so we can discuss
the style and feel that they want for their
wedding pictures. I ask each couple to bring
photos from magazines so that I can really get a
feel for what is meaningful to them.
