Tamarack Photography (Victoria-wedding.com) has been serving Greater Victoria and the West Coast since 1975. I, (Ted Waring) have been working in the photographic field since 1968. I completed my degree in Photo-journalism in 1981 from the University of Victoria. I have also studied and worked with Will Dantene of Will Dantene Photography.

I am known throughout the region for my extensive work in sports photography and for the last 20 years, my wedding photography. In that time I have photographed over 500 weddings.

With a lifetime of experiences in the Victoria, I, Ted Waring have gained extensive knowledge of the beautiful and scenic settings that I use in my photography. My wedding travels have taken me to many photographic locations on Vancouver Island, and the Lower Mainland.

I use a variety of photographic equipment when shooting a wedding. My mainstays are two Nikon F90x camera bodies with 28-105mm and 100-300mm zoom lenses. I strive to capture the very essence of that special day. In my coverage of your wedding, I make use of a variety of posed photos and photo-journalism (candid shots). Environmental portraits , both in B&W and colour, are my photographic specialities.
